"Mamata Banerjee is winning with vast majority": Congress MP Rajeev Shukla Bengal's 91.91% voter turnout in first phase
New Delhi, April 24 -- Congress MP Rajeev Shukla praised the historic 91.91 per cent voter turnout recorded in the first phase of the West Bengal Assembly Elections and said that Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee is claiming victory with a "vast majority."
Voting for the Bengal Assembly elections concluded at 6 pm on Thursday, with the state recording a significantly higher voter turnout of 91.91 per cent in Phase I polling compared to Tamil Nadu, which recorded 84.80 per cent turnout.
