Dehradun, June 12 -- Rajendra Singh Rana, uncle of former Indian shooter and coach Jaspal Rana, expressed deep sorrow over his sudden demise, saying the late shooter had no prior health issues and was travelling to Germany when the incident occurred.

Jaspal passed away in New Delhi on Friday after battling health complications. Speaking to ANI, Rana's uncle Rajendra Singh Rana said, "This is a moment of great sorrow. He had no prior (health) issues. He was heading to Germany when this happened."
