New Delhi, Sept. 27 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that preparation in the field of defence is both "complete and strong", quoting the principle that "if you want peace, prepare for war". He asserted that the country is building capabilities to ensure a credible deterrence against threats.

Addressing the NDTV Defence Conclave, Singh said preparations made during peacetime help limit losses during conflict and added that India's defence readiness was being continuously enhanced in line with changing security requirements.
