Sikar, Oct. 2 -- Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday said farmers in the Shekhawati region could "grow gold from the earth" if water reaches the region, asserting that his government had prioritised water, electricity, employment and industry since assuming office.

Addressing a gathering in Sikar, Sharma said water scarcity was one of the biggest issues facing Rajasthan and highlighted the government's efforts to address the problem.
