Kapurthala, Aug. 24 -- Pyare Lal, father of the deceased Gurdeep Singh who tragically lost his life following a shooting incident in Brooklyn, New York, urged the government to "provide justice" for his son's death, calling for strict punishment against the culprits.

Speaking with ANI, Pyare lal said that his son moved to New York about 9 years ago and had been working as a pizza delivery boy. He said that a customer, who allegedly refused to pay for their order, shot Singh.

"...It had been 8-9 years since he went to New York. He used to deliver pizza there. He had gone to deliver pizza and had asked for its payment; the customer didn't pay up and shot him dead," he said.
