Jaipur, Aug. 24 -- Kaziah Liz Mejo, the winner of Miss Universe India 2026, expressed her happiness after winning the crown, describing her victory as an "iconic moment" of her life.

Mejo emerged as the winner from a field of 52 national finalists, succeeding Miss Universe India 2025 Manika Vishwakarma, who passed on the crown during the finale.

While talking to ANI, Mejo, hailing from Keralam, said, "I feel so on top of the world. This is such an iconic moment, and the moment that I have worked for over three years now. I am so incredibly happy that I get to bring home this crown to my Keralam to be able to show my hometown to the world to be able to carry it to the universe."
