Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant on Wednesday questioned the appointment of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra (Retd) as the first CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Reacting to the appointment, Sawant said, It's okay, but that doesn't mean that whatever you do, the first crime is forgiven. You have committed theft, which is why we have to appoint an air marshal."

Sawant also raised questions over the Trust's devotion towards the god, saying, "I doubt and fear their devotion towards the god."

His comments came after the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust on Wednesday appointed retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), besides appointing three new trustees.
