New Delhi, July 24 -- Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday hit out at the University of Delhi over its advisory asking students to stay away from demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, accusing the university of threatening students for exercising their democratic rights.

Sharing the University of Delhi's post on X, Rahul Gandhi said, "How dare you threaten students for exercising their democratic rights? Please note, you are the ones that will be held accountable when the time comes."
