Bengaluru, Sept. 19 -- Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President BK Hariprasad on Saturday welcomed the state cabinet's decision to grant Tulu the status of Karnataka's second official language and expressed immense pride in the recognition bestowed upon his mother tongue

While speaking to reporters, KPCC chief Hariprasad emphasised that the Karnataka government should now translate the decision into formal legislative action by passing a resolution in both Houses of the State Legislature.
