Lucknow, Aug. 23 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday paid tribute to freedom fighter Gulab Singh Lodhi on his death anniversary, which is observed as Balidan Diwas.

Addressing a programme in Lucknow, the Chief Minister highlighted Lodhi's contribution to the freedom movement and recalled his role in the struggle for India's independence.

Speaking on the occasion, the Uttar Pradesh CM said, "Today, we have gathered here to mark the 91st martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Gulab Singh Lodhi Ji.
