"Govt has to raise electricity bills amid West Asia crisis, people should take it positively": UP Minister on 10% electricity bill hike
Hapur, May 30 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister Narendra Kashyap on Saturday said that if the state government has raised electricity bills then the "people should take it positively".
This comes after the state government announced that Uttar Pradesh residents will witness a 10 per cent increase in their electricity bills in June, citing rising fuel costs and the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS) as the reason.
