Tel Aviv, Oct. 17 -- After The Washington Post reported an assault against photojournalist Heidi Levine, allegedly by masked Israeli settlers, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the facts surrounding the incident "remain unclear" and are subject to probe.

In a statement on Friday, the Israeli PMO condemned the attack; however, it said that masked individuals on both sides, Jewish and Arabs, were seen hurling objects.

The Israeli PMO stated on X, "The facts surrounding the confrontation near Abu Falah, during which Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine was allegedly assaulted, remain unclear and are under investigation.
