Chennai, Sept. 4 -- Renowned dancer Padma Subrahmanyam on Friday praised the devotional atmosphere at the ISKCON Chennai ECR Temple, saying that every visit to the temple feels like "seeing Bhagawan Krishna in person" and highlighting the role of bhakti in Bharatiya culture and art.

Speaking on the occasion, Subrahmanyam praised the temple's spiritual atmosphere and the devotion reflected in its rituals and artistic traditions.

"Every time I come to this ISKCON temple, it's like seeing Bhagawan Krishna in person. The care with which the Alankara is done each time I see Him, it is amazing," she told ANI.

Highlighting the close relationship between devotion and Indian classical arts, Subrahmanyam said, "Only bhakti can aid art."
