New Delhi, May 29 -- Energy security remains a key priority for India amid global concern over energy supply due to conflict in West Asia, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday said, adding that the country is actively diversifying its energy sources and welcoming cooperation from global partners, including Norway.

Responding to a query on gas shipments expected from Norway, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India's approach is focused on strengthening energy security through diversified imports.
