Bengaluru, Aug. 27 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Thursday confirmed that eight citizens from Karnataka are trapped in the severe weather calamity following the flash floods in Nepal.

Speaking to ANI, G Parameshwara confirmed the number of stranded citizens in the Nepal floods and said, "As per the information we have received, 8 people from Karnataka are stuck in the Nepal floods. We are ascertaining their details and other information," G Parameshwara said.

He furhter explained the measures being undertaken to establish contact with the trapped citizens.
