Bengaluru, April 19 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batting coach Dinesh Karthik feels that his team didn't get as many runs as they wanted while batting first. RCB was defeated after a late onslaught from Delhi Capitals' (DC) finishers denied them a victory in last-over thriller as the visitors chased down the target of 176 with one ball to spare and six wickets in hand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium a day ago.
RCB posted a competitive total on a challenging surface, with Phil Salt (63 off 38) leading the charge through a composed half-century, his second of the season and sixth overall for the franchise. But a quieter final five overs meant the hosts finished slightly below what looked possible at one stage.
