"Didi is going on May 4": West Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya
Kolkata, April 29 -- West Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya on Wednesday took a jibe at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, asserting that "if the thought of TMC's victory lets her sleep at night, she should not be disturbed," further claiming that "TMC will be swept by BJP after the counting day."
"If thinking about this helps someone's sleep for two days, you shouldn't have the desire to disrupt it, and neither should I. Say whatever you want. Didi is going on May 4," he told ANI.
The remark comes after CM Banerjee claimed that TMC will win the West Bengal Assembly elections 2026 with a two-thirds majority.
