New Delhi, March 6 -- AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's silence on the US' recent attack on the Iranian warship 'IRIS Dena' in the Indian Ocean is "dereliction" of their constitutional responsibility.
Owaisi posed several questions on the nature of the attack, asking whether India was informed about the US attack.
"There are too many unanswered questions about the US Navy sinking the Iranian ship so close to Indian waters. The answers have to come from the government, but the PM and the EAM have been silent. This is a dereliction of their constitutional responsibility towards the people of our country," Owaisi said in a post on X.
