"Culture of safety" key to preventing medication-related risks, says WHO India Rep Hutin
New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- Emphasising the need for a collective approach to strengthen medicine safety and pharmacovigilance, WHO Representative to India Dr Yvan JF Hutin on Monday said that promoting a "culture of safety" involving all stakeholders is important to prevent medication-related risks.
Speaking to ANI on the sidelines of the 7th Edition of the National Formulary of India (NFI), Hutin highlighted the World Health Organization's collaboration with the India Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), particularly on developing guidelines for monitoring the safety of medical devices.
