Hoshiarpur, Oct. 3 -- Partap Singh Bajwa, the Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, arrived in Hoshiarpur on Saturday. He held a meeting with the local Congress leadership at the residence of senior Congress leader and former MLA Pawan Adia.

Speaking to reporters, Bajwa mentioned that he was travelling towards his home, and the route passed through Hoshiarpur. He decided to use this opportunity to meet and hold discussions with his fellow Congress leaders.

Commenting on the appointment of Pargat Singh as the new Punjab Congress President, Bajwa stated that this was a decision made by the Congress High Command, and everyone has accepted it. He emphasised that the Congress party is completely united and there is no factionalism...
