New Delhi, July 20 -- Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday targeted the BJP-led government, alleging that the party was working with an "egoistic" approach and not listening to the voices of students and people.

Speaking to reporters, Yadav said, "If we look back at history, the Britishers looted us, and the BJP is also doing the same now. The party is working in an egoistic manner."

He further questioned the government's handling of issues concerning students, including alleged irregularities in NEET, saying, "The government should at least listen to the voices of students.
