New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- Amid a row over the vegetarian menu at the BRICS Summit, Congress MP Karti Chidambaram on Monday criticised the Centre's cultural representation, saying India's culinary diversity should include meat and seafood as part of its broader cultural ethos.

Speaking to ANI, Chidambaram alleged that the BJP's political beliefs influence how India's culture is projected globally.

"We must be gracious hosts, but this government has got a cultural thrust in the way India is portrayed.
