New Delhi, July 1 -- Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab, terming its decision to implement the Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) Act as the "biggest U-turn in democratic governance".

Speaking to ANI, the Union Minister pointed out that the Punjab government had vehemently opposed the same central scheme, which offers 125 days of employment, only to adopt it now due to the state's "sinking economy".
