Chennai, Aug. 26 -- Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) spokesperson TKS Elangovan on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Centre's 'One Nation, One Election' proposal, alleging that the move is intended to destroy the federal structure of the country.

Speaking to ANI, Elangovan emphasised that India's vast diversity in terms of languages, regional policies, and governance needs makes simultaneous elections unviable.
