New Delhi, May 8 -- Jeremy Loeliger, the commissioner of the Indian Basketball League (IBL), said that competition aims to give something to young Indian players "something to aspire for" and a proper pathway towards becoming a professional basketball player for India and in the National Basketball Association (NBA) of North America, the most prestigious basketball tournament in the world.
Jeremy spoke to ANI at the BudX NBA House event in Delhi. The IBL, the country's first-ever professional basketball league, is supported by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and will take place this year.
