New Delhi, May 23 -- Asserting that every citizen is working towards the resolution of building a developed nation by 2047, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced that a comprehensive semiconductor supply chain is taking root in India, with 10 major domestic units poised to make a global impact in the near future.

Addressing a Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, the Prime Minister emphasised that heavy capital investments in core manufacturing and engineering sectors are generating millions of high-quality job opportunities for the nation's youth, with a 'complete supply chain for semiconductors is being created in India'.
