Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- The Wonderful Indonesia Gastronomy (WIG) 2026, organized by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Indonesia Gastronomy Network, will highlight the origins of various local ingredients and dishes.

Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said at a press conference on WIG 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday that the event has a broader scope than last year's edition.

"While the previous WIG edition focused largely on introducing Indonesia's gourmet dining scene, this year's event has expanded its scope to present a more comprehensive spectrum of Indonesian gastronomy," the Minister said.
