Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited flash-flood evacuees in Solok, West Sumatra, on Friday to assess their needs and the government's emergency response and recovery efforts.

Gibran said the central and regional governments and other agencies were coordinating to ensure the emergency response and recovery efforts proceeded effectively, according to a statement received Friday.
