Jakarta, Feb. 26 -- Indonesian Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono said the government envisions cooperatives under the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) program as economic hubs linked to street vendors as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

He made the statement after hosting representatives from the Association of Indonesian Street Vendors and MSMEs (APKLI) at the Ministry of Cooperatives office in Jakarta on Thursday.

"Our discussion focused on fostering an ecosystem that supports street vendors across Indonesia to collaborate with village cooperatives," Juliantono said.
