Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono said the cross-regional placement of Red and White Village Cooperative (KDKMP) managers is aimed at ensuring an even distribution of managerial human resources across all regions.

Following a limited coordination meeting here on Tuesday, Juliantono said the placement was also carried out to fill manager needs in regions where KDKMP buildings have been completed, so the cooperatives can immediately begin operational activities.

He added that managers who object to being placed far from their domicile are not automatically disqualified and can retain their status while awaiting a solution, according to the ministry's press statement.
