Jakarta, May 31 -- President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the spirit of Vesak Day serves as an inspiration to strengthen national unity and solidarity.

In a video message to Buddhists marking the Vesak Day celebration on Sunday, the president called on all segments of society to help build a harmonious nation.

"The spirit of this year's Vesak, with its theme of 'Dharma as a Source of Morality and Wisdom, Love as a Source of World Peace,' should inspire us all to continue strengthening brotherhood, spreading kindness, prioritizing dialogue, and maintaining harmony in our lives," Prabowo said.
