Jakarta, April 19 -- Indonesia's state-owned oil and gas giant Pertamina confirmed that its two tankers-Pertamina Pride and Gamsunoro-remain stranded in the Persian Gulf amid ongoing restrictions on passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement received in Jakarta on Sunday, Vega Pita, Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina International Shipping, said her team is closely monitoring the "highly dynamic situation" in the waterway.
"We continue to coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders, including ministries and other agencies, while working on plans for safe passage," she emphasized.
Pita stressed that the company remains committed to bringing back the loads while prioritizing the safety of the vessels and their crews.
