Jakarta, Sept. 27 -- The Ministry of Transportation is reinforcing its three-layer aviation safety oversight and disaster preparedness by enhancing contingency plans to ensure safe, secure, and smooth air transportation operations.

The ministry's Director General of Civil Aviation, Lukman F. Laisa, noted that aviation safety and security must be a top priority and consistently maintained, in line with the increasingly dynamic challenges of aviation operations and natural factors.
