Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza said that the transition process for managing sea transportation to the Seribu Islands is targeted to be completed within about a year, with operations starting in June 2027.

He said TransJakarta has made several preparations, including visiting five islands, namely Pari, Pramuka, Panggang, Kelapa, and Harapan islands, some time ago.

"We also met with operators and traditional boat business owners. Their hope is that, drawing on the system that exists on land, there could be opportunities for cooperation with traditional boat operators," Yuza said here on Thursday.
