Tangerang, Sept. 30 -- Trade Ministry is introducing artificial intelligence (AI) services at Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026 for the first time, aiming to unlock global market opportunities for Indonesian talent.

Fajarini Puntodewi, an official of the ministry, stated that the move is part of TEI's efforts to adapt to evolving global market demands.

"This is the first time we are introducing AI services," Puntodewi said during the TEI 2026 press conference in Tangerang District, Banten, Wednesday.

According to her, the inclusion of AI services enables prospective international buyers to order AI-based products and services developed by Indonesian talent.

"So, they can order these AI products from Indonesian talent," she said.
