Jakarta, Sept. 9 -- Trade Minister Budi Santoso has said the use of digital technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), can make it easier for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to penetrate global markets.

"There will be training on how to apply digital technology, especially AI. As for how we sell, I think with AI it will be easier for us to penetrate the global market," Santoso said at the opening of the "Reach the Global Market with AI Training", held with Meta here on Wednesday.

Santoso said AI technology can help MSMEs market and explain their products to prospective overseas buyers, making it easier for buyers to understand what is being offered.
