Jakarta, July 16 -- Indonesia's Tourism Ministry and Danantara Indonesia, the country's sovereign wealth fund, have discussed efforts to boost investments for the development of event venues, particularly for music concerts.

"We have discussed with the CEO of Danantara (Rosan Perkasa Roeslani) regarding investments in event venues, especially for concerts," Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said following a press conference here on Wednesday (July 15).

According to the minister, the discussions were held in response to complaints from promoter associations concerning the scarcity of dedicated concert facilities in Indonesia.
