Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said the Ye Live Concert Tour in Jakarta on Saturday, Oct. 24, generated up to Rp600 billion (US$33.1 million) in economic turnover.

"One international concert can bring many economic sectors to life at once, from hotels, restaurants, transportation, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to opening job opportunities for thousands of people," Wardhana said in a statement on Tuesday.

Citing data from promoter Raw Vision Collective and the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Jakarta, the concert created an estimated Rp600 billion in economic output across ticket sales, culinary transactions, merchandise purchases, and MSME trade.
