Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Timor-Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta invited Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to visit Timor-Leste, with Prabowo agreeing to plan the trip, Culture Minister Fadli Zon said.

Zon said the invitation was extended during Prabowo's meeting with Ramos-Horta, who led a delegation of Nobel laureates to the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday..

Prabowo reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a "good neighbor" policy aimed at strengthening harmonious relations with surrounding countries, he said.

The policy covers Timor-Leste, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, with Prabowo strongly committed to maintaining it, Zon said.
