Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono will lead the Indonesian delegation to the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, representing President Prabowo Subianto, who will remain in Indonesia to focus on domestic priorities.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yvonne Mewengkang confirmed the assignment, saying that Sugiono would represent the President in a busy schedule of around 22 high-level engagements, bilateral meetings, and multilateral forums, including meetings involving the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and MIKTA.
