Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- Indonesia's Foreign Minister for 2024-2026, Sugiono, expressed confidence that Arrmanatha C. Nasir would carry out his duties well as foreign minister, including overseeing Indonesia's diplomacy and foreign policy.

Sugiono, who now serves as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, made the statement during a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta on Thursday.

"I am confident in and trust his capabilities. I am confident that he can also lead and safeguard the Foreign Ministry, as well as ensure that Indonesia's diplomacy and foreign policy continue to advance," Sugiono said.
