Tangerang, Banten, March 24 -- State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia reported that Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang served 1,983,067 passengers from D-7 to D+3 of the Eid al-Fitr period.

"Based on our records from March 14 to March 24, we have served 1,983,067 passengers," General Manager Heru Karyadi said on Tuesday.

The 1.9 million travelers were handled through 13,184 aircraft movements, marking a 5.6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic.

"As of today, we have served 13,184 flights, up 4.7 percent from 2025 and 5.6 percent from 2019," Karyadi added, highlighting the sustained growth in passenger traffic.
