Kupang, May 31 -- Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf hopes the provincial government and regional heads in the regencies and cities of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) will immediately prepare land for the permanent Sekolah Rakyat Merah Putih (SRMP), similar to the one in Kupang Regency.

"I hope in the future, the President's target of establishing at least one permanent public school in each regency/city and at least two at the provincial level can be implemented by the province and regency," he said in Kupang on Sunday.

He made this statement while attending the commemoration of National Elderly Day in Kupang, which was also attended by Family Hope Program (PKH) facilitators, Sekolah Rakyat students, regional heads, and the governor.
