Sleman, April 25 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said that slum upgrading efforts in Mrican, Caturtunggal, Sleman District, Yogyakarta, could serve as a model for other cities in Indonesia.

"I visited the Mrican area in Sleman yesterday afternoon. The slum area handling at that location can serve as a model for similar efforts in other cities across Indonesia," Yudhoyono said on Saturday.

He made the statement while meeting Sleman Deputy District Head Danang Maharsa during a tree-planting activity for the green corridor along the Prambanan-Purwomartani toll road section in Sleman.
