Nabire, Sept. 20 -- Construction of six outlets for Indonesia's Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) in Central Papua has been completed as part of a government program aimed at supporting the distribution of goods and the marketing of local products.

Colonel Inf. Fajar Wibawa Angkasa, head of the territorial section at the 173/PVB Regional Military Command, said on Saturday that four of the completed outlets were in Nabire Regency and two in Mimika Regency.

The Indonesian military, or TNI, was tasked with carrying out the physical construction of the KDMP outlets as part of its support for the government program, Angkasa said.
