Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- Indonesia's military and security agencies will deploy 74 aircraft over Jakarta's State Palace for the Aug. 17 Independence Day celebration, including the Indonesian Air Force's newest Rafale fighter jets.

"The plan involves 74 aircraft from the Air Force, Army, Navy, police and search-and-rescue agency," Air Force Spokesman First Marshal I Nyoman Suadnyana told ANTARA on Wednesday.

The 74 aircraft include fighter jets, transport aircraft, helicopters, reconnaissance aircraft and Boeing aircraft, he said.

Air Force pilots are currently conducting maneuver training ahead of their appearance in the skies over Jakarta, Nyoman said.
