Semarang, Aug. 5 -- Semarang Immigration Office in Central Java Province has deported four Chinese nationals who were wanted by authorities in their home country.

The administrative immigration action stemmed from an operation targeting an alleged online fraud syndicate involved in a "love scam" scheme on June 4, 2026, in the Puri Anjasmoro area of Semarang City, Head of Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement at the Semarang Immigration Office Haryono Susilo said in Semarang on Wednesday.

According to Susilo, those apprehended during the operation included four Chinese nationals, identified by their initials as HJ (40), HK (44), HY (44), and TW (37), who were fugitives wanted by the Chinese authorities.
