Jakarta, March 25 -- Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Indonesia said preparations for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage are on track and the event will proceed safely despite rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
"Alhamdulillah, Saudi Arabia remains safe at this time," Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amudi told a press conference at his residence in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He said all arrangements for this year's Hajj are progressing smoothly in line with plans set by the Saudi government.
"Everything will proceed as planned," he said, expressing confidence in the overall readiness of authorities to host pilgrims.
