Banda Aceh, Aceh, Oct. 9 -- Sabang immigration officials inspected 10 foreign nationals entering through Balohan Port and found no immigration violations during a joint monitoring operation on Wednesday, October 8, the local immigration office said.

"The joint operation with the Foreigners Monitoring Team (PORA) is a proactive measure to ensure foreign nationals comply with Indonesia's immigration regulations," said Muchsin Miralza, head of the Sabang Class II Immigration Checkpoint Office.

Speaking here Thursday, he said the operation reflected inter-agency cooperation to maintain security and uphold Indonesian law in territorial waters and border areas, particularly in Sabang, a nationally strategic tourism destination.
