Jakarta, April 14 -- The Indonesian Tourism Ministry, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Indonesia, has discussed the issue of a travel advisory issued by local authorities that included Bali in its narrative.

In an official statement on Tuesday, the Tourism Ministry said it had requested clarification regarding the matter.

The meeting resulted in the Embassy of the Republic of Korea issuing an apology and explaining that the previous travel advisory posting occurred due to an error by the Consul General of the Republic of Korea when responding to questions from South Korean citizens regarding criminal cases in Bali.
